Little Japanese Girl

March 24, 2011

Once, while I was shopping at down Town Madison. In three years at  first time I noticed couple of Asian shops down there. I do not know why and how it came into my mind that I should make a "Japanese Style" outfit for her. I then tried hard to find my desired material but it took me forever to get this one in the Sales. I was so exited to make an outfit for her. But there was a big problem for me, I never used any sewing pattern so it was kind of  very hard for me to figured it out to how to cut this dress. Finally, I thought I should give a call to my mom to Pakistan. I explained her in the detail about what I exactly wanted to make and had to give her couple of references from the different "Asian Movies". She is a smart women who figured that out in just few minutes and helped me over the phone in my cutting process. It almost took me  five hours ( one hour I spent over the phone) to get it ready.  Finally I put her on and took all these pictures right away. Couldn't wait at all. Then we went to shopping, so we can show her dress off to a whole lot of world, lol. And guess what?............ How big time people "Wowed" on her dress.  It felt so great. It was such a nice day-off for me.

Now, rest is her job to play in the snow and make it messy ASAP.

Gosh, she looks so pretty, and its perfect fit on her. But was difficult to put her hat on. She simply hate to put anything on her head.

Giving me a style for her picture taking. I have no idea what is that writing mean (in the middle of her dress). I just cut that from a fabric frame what I purchased once from a Garage Sale.

Okay that's it for the day. My mom will be happy to see this post. Because I did great job with Zahra's dress.
